SCOPE OF WORK
- Handling of civil proceedings, particularly those arising from civil liability, claiming compensatory and consequential damages as well as moral damages (non-pecuniary losses) — whether derived from breach of contractual obligations or from unlawful acts, including medical and professional negligence, accidents caused by hazardous objects, wrongful death attributable to a third party, and contractual breaches.
- Extensive experience in civil oral trials, both preliminary and trial hearings, including examination of evidence before the Oral Judge and presentation of closing arguments.
- Specialized practice in filing appeals before higher courts and amparo proceedings in civil matters, challenging resolutions bearing unconstitutional or illegal defects issued by first-instance judges.
